Six Flags Great Adventure Rolls Out Thrills by Day and Frights by Night This Fall

Press Release from Six Flags Great Adventure:

Jackson, N.J. — Aug. 12, 2025 — This fall, the thrills are turned up and the scares come out at night as Fright Fest presented by SNICKERS® returns to Six Flags Great Adventure for an extended fall run.

Beginning Sept.12 and running select nights through Nov. 2, guests will encounter a chilling Halloween celebration featuring eerie scare zones, pulse-pounding nighttime shows, rides in the dark and the only location in the Northeast where guests can immerse themselves in the twisted worlds of four iconic horror film franchises.

During the day, younger guests can enjoy Kids Boo Fest every Saturday and Sunday. With daytime delights like trick-or-treating and festive activities, the whole family can get into the Halloween spirit, no scares required.

Nighttime Event Highlights

Haunted mazes featuring iconic horror films:

  • Army of the Dead – Based on the infernal Netflix film: Las Vegas is sealed behind walls of steel and death. You're trapped inside the quarantine zone where hordes of flesh-hungry zombies prowl neon-lit streets. Navigate casino floors littered with carnage and dodge ravenous zombies amid the glitter and glow of this once-great destination. The city of sin has become a city of the dead—escape or join them.

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) – Welcome back to Harlow, Texas—in this corner of the world, secrets are buried deep and a dark truth lurks behind closed doors. You may think this ghost town has potential, but these blighted buildings harbor bloody memories. Leatherface haunts these streets, and your arrival has driven him to slaughter.

  • The Conjuring Universe – Based on New Line Cinema’s iconic horror franchise: enter the Warrens' occult museum where their most terrifying cases await. Face Annabelle's malevolent stare, flee from The Nun's unholy presence, and survive the Perron farmhouse's demonic forces. Each cursed artifact awakens ancient evil. Tonight, you're not just observing their cases; you've become part of them.

  • Trick ‘r Treat – Based on the darkly comic Halloween classic: enter into a world where tricks dominate treats, and learn the season's rules before setting out into this twisted Candy Trail nightmare. This spine-chilling experience will test your bravery and make you think twice before trick-or-treating again.

More terrifying mazes:

  • Asylum – This fan favorite returns for another season of madness and mayhem behind the gates

  • Big Top Terror presented by M&M'S® – Horrors of all shapes, sizes and species take center ring in this circus of demonic clowns

  • The Witches Reflection presented by SNICKERS® – Guests try to escape this labyrinth of mirrors before a spell traps their souls forever

To experience these terrifying mazes, guests must purchase a Haunted Attractions Pass, which includes admission to all haunted mazes. Haunted Attractions Passes can be purchased online or at the park while supplies last.
